Limelight is a story of a young black woman named Ashira Goldenfire, who seeks to make a name for herself in the music industry alongside her best friend Cheryl Stone. They go through hardships and evolution of music, hoping to one day reach their goals. However things soon get complicated, when a Voodoo Man by the name of Carter Silver enters Ashira's life. Soon she falls into something much deeper than what she bargained for. Question is, is it for good of or bad?

Carter is a man born in colorado and raised in New Orleans. He was an Ex-Mafia, and owns a voodoo shop. He runs in the day, and a mercenary at night. With the help of his friend Alex, and Voodoo Demons. But he slowly changes when he involves Ashira in his life. He's usually serious, but has a soft side and a charmer.

Ashira is a young woman born and raised in New Orleans. She was kindergarten teacher for 8 years, before wanting to pursue a career in singing. She eventually seeks help from Carter, who turns her world upside down. She's sweet and considerate, but she acts before she thinks.

Alex Bail is an Australian man, that enjoy traveling and adventuring through the world, he sometimes come off rough but he's a big soft cuddly bear inside. A dangerous one, and one of Carter's closes friends. That he meet in one of his travels, and has been by him sense then.
